Aangeleverd door: It’s Me

I’m still amazed when I remember that in Daniel 9 the arrival of Messiah was prophesied to the very day.  69 weeks of years (x 7) = 483 x 360 = 173,880 days.  Triumphal entry March 29th, 33AD (source).

I think about Israel’s rebirth on May 14th, 1948 as predicted to the day from Ezekiel 4—907,200 days (source).

God is in charge and is the Lord of precision, symmetry and beauty.

I have often wondered if the difference in these two dates has some meaning, perhaps the length of the church age and the three dates were kind of a triune framework (907,200 – 173,880 = 733,320).

That thesis hasn’t proved fruitful, but this is what started me looking and led me to something else—the overwhelming number of converging numbers found by many, chief among them Daniel Matson, at WatchfortheDay.org.

As Chuck Missler has taught me, taking God’s word very literally is critical.  Is God’s heart for the church age and the time of the Gentiles to last two full solar calendar millennia?

As God’s end of the age plan has increasingly been revealed over the last few years, the following verses have become more dear and precious to me.

John 4:39–43 (NASB):

From that city many of the Samaritans believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, ‘He told me all the things that I have done.’ So when the Samaritans came to Jesus, they were asking Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. Many more believed because of His word; and they were saying to the woman, ‘It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is indeed the Savior of the world.’ After the two days He went forth from there into Galilee.

Hosea 6:1–3 (NASB):

Come, let us return to the Lord. For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us. 2 He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, that we may live before Him. 3 So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth.

2 Peter 3:8–9 (NASB):

But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Given the obvious lateness of the hour, the two millennia that have passed and these verses, it is clear that God’s intention for the church age is two millennia.

This makes me wonder about the length of the church age, the precision, symmetry and beauty.  Of course, no one knows the day or the hour, for now we see through a glass dimly (1 Cor. 13:12), but one day we will see clearly and maybe we’ll wonder how we missed it.

What if the heart of God was for the door of salvation to be opened from 33 AD to 2033 AD?

From Pentecost, May 24th, 33 AD (the conception of the church) to Pentecost, June 5th, 2033 is:

730,499 days.

2,550 days (The tribulation described in Daniel 12 with day counts of 1260, 1290, and 1335)

Back to my original hypothesis where we take the difference between the day counts given in Ezekiel 4 and Daniel 9 (733,320 days).

733,320 – 733,049 = 271 days.  9 months.  A gestation period.  Makes me wonder if this could be a bookend gestation period to Christ’s.

These numbers don’t reconcile perfectly, but they are fascinatingly close.

Back on the road forward, the Word tells us the days will be cut short.  Will 2018 be the time of His return?  Are we presently in some kind of 9 month bookend gestation period following September 23rd?  I don’t know, but one thing I do know is that it is very, very late and we’re closer than ever.
Matthew 24:22 (NASB):

Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.
What if “23” was the magic number?  As in 9/23 and Leviticus 23 and the interesting possibility that the conception of the church occurred the day after the 23rd on 5/24/33.  One age ended on the 23rd.

Since the days are shortened, how much longer?

Its interesting to me that the sacrificial system continued another 37 years after the new age began, finally ending in 70 AD.  Is the church age cut short 23 years?

23 years x 360 days = 8,280 days.

733,049 (2nd millennia beginning in 2033 + the tribulation period = 2040) – 8,280 days (23 years) = 724,769 days.

Pentecost, May 24th, 33 AD church conception to September 23rd, 2017 birth sign = 724,765 days.

These numbers are fascinatingly close.  The 9/23 sign was 23 biblical years short of the 2nd millennial anniversary of the conception of the church + the length of the tribulation period.

Bottom line: it’s interesting that 23 seems to confirm and point back to 9/23/17 and we will never know the day or the hour of the return.

As an aside:  September 11th, 2001 to Valentine’s day February 14th, 2018 = 6,000 days.

BREAKING: Israel Launches Biggest Airstrikes In Syria Since 1982

Posted: 10 Feb 2018 12:29 PM PST

There is major news out of the Middle East today that there has apparently been a major escalation in Syria and Northern Israel.  The situation is still very fluid, but here is what we know:

1. A sophisticated Iranian UAV entered Northern Israel and was shot down by an Israeli Apache helicopter.  Footage of the helicopter attack has already reached YouTube:
2. In response to the incursion, an Israeli F-16 destroyed the drone’s control station.

3. On the return flight, the F-16 was shot down by Syrian air defenses and crashed in Northern Israel, east of Haifa.  Both pilots ejected, but were injured, one of them critically.  This marks the first time an Israeli F-16 has been shot down, and the first time any manned Israeli aircraft was shot down in the Syrian conflict.

4. Israel responded to the downing of their warplane with the largest airstrikes in Syria since 1982—over 35 years ago.  Numerous air defenses and military facilities have been targeted, including eight facilities in or in the vicinity of Damascus.

5. Hezbollah is calling the downing of the F-16 a strategic game-changer and Russia, in no uncertain terms, is telling Israel to back off and restrain itself.

In my most recent post I mentioned the December 2017 United Nations damage assessment of the Damascus metropolitan area and I want to share that again, because the assessment is startling—showing a significant increase in Damascus’ destruction in just a year and a half:
The area shown above is directly adjacent to the old city and downtown areas of Damascus, and demonstrates, in my humble opinion, that the tragic fulfillment of Isaiah 17:1 is nigh at hand.  At some point in the near future, Damascus proper will be destroyed in just one night:

A prophecy against Damascus: ‘See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins… At evening, behold, terror! Before the morning, they are no more. This is the portion of those who plunder us, and the lot of those who rob us.’

– Isaiah 17:1; 14
All of this is happening as Prime Minister Netanyahu acknowledges that he might be indicted next week on corruption charges.  If Netanyahu is forced out this year, it isn’t any sort of stretch to see a liberal Zionist Union leader take the helm and quickly capitulate to a final status agreement with “Palestine”.
