The Hope of Glory

The Hope of Glory – Pete Garcia

Aangeleverd door: Spruitje

This is a great read for all of us as we move ever closer to what sure seems to be the Revelation 12 Sign.  A fantastic article, balanced and hopeful… just like how WE should be! Thank you Jan Markell for sharing this and thank you Pete Garcia for writing it!  I am encouraged to know that many of the debunkers are reading these words and those of us who truly believe that this sign on the 23rd of this month is an alignment straight from the Book of Revelation should do the same.

In the article Pete lays out a fantastic defense for the legitimacy of the sign (read the article) but then balances it out with the following words of caution:

The negatives than are that some will be convinced that something will absolutely have to happen on September 23rd. If September 23rd comes and goes without anything major or significant changing, many who planted all their hopes and dreams on that date will become disillusioned and drift away from the faith. Those who are not Christians will inevitably use this as simply one more thing they can pin on those “wacky” Christians who are waiting for a Messiah who will never come.

If you missed it, we shared another one of Pete’s articles back on June 19th.
Thank You Pete Garcia from The Omega Letter!

My Personal Thoughts On This Topic

For me, the possibility of the rapture happening very near the fulfillment of this sign is very logical for many different reasons.  We even have a precedence to look at which I think we should pay attention to:

When Christ was born, the Star of Bethlehem seems to have aligned directly with His birth.  That is why when the Wise Men showed up from many miles away, Jesus was already a toddler!  We also know that Noah had plenty of warning up until the day the door of the ark was closed.  So for me, I am advising people to watch the coming days leading up to September 23rd very closely and expectantly.  Why discount the possibility that it could happen on that day until time proves us wrong???

But IF we get to the 24th and beyond, be very careful not to let your guard down…. do not even think about doing that!   God has gotten our attention for a purpose and I don’t think He is in the business of creating these grand announcements for no reason.   I don’t know how this will all play out, but I truly believe if we stay close to HIM and focus on HIS PROMISES, we will not be caught unaware.

In closing, I personally believe that we are very close now.  I just can’t get around it.  So from here on out be HOPEFUL!!  Be JOYFUL!!!  And be READY!!!!  One of these days He is coming…and there is plenty of reason to think that we are very close to that glorious day!

  1. Ah Pete, the voice of reason and insight, thank you! ~Tryphosa

  2. I think that article was very fair and well-done. Contrast it with this one from Pulpit and Pen:

The author went out of his way to paint us as complete idiots who are not only guilty of astrology, but are on par with people who believe in prophetic chickens. He spared no effort to paint this in the dumbest light possible. Anyone who learns of this topic through that article is going to be poisoned against it in a massive way.

What bothers me is that the charge of astrology is so false that I find it hard to believe it is being made in good faith. Likewise, the “no man knows” verse is so easy to answer (and so obviously has nothing to do with the rapture, if you will just stop and read Matthew 24) that I find it hard to believe it is being made in good faith. I knew that verse had nothing to do with the rapture long before I ever heard about 9/23. How can anyone with a deep knowledge of apologetics and eschatology have no idea what Matthew 24 is about?

I have been strongly opposed to call these debunkers “scoffers”, but look at the dictionary:

    “to speak derisively; mock; jeer”

Pete at the Omega Letter may not believe it, but at least he treats it fairly. Others are being so derisive that it is utterly baffling. It isn’t the world that is doing the scoffing; it is those within the church who seem to be the most opposed to it.

Let’s not lose heart, or give up before 9/23 even gets here. Instead of pre-emptively coming up with reasons to explain the “failure” of 9/23 (which hasn’t even gotten here yet), I’d rather look forward to it with eager anticipation. It is much too soon to throw in the towel and start assuming nothing will happen.

  3. Thanks Jonathan,

    1) The mere possibility of Christ returning heralded by a verifiable celestial alignment which is directly tied to the #1 rapture passage according to some of the most scholarly men in the Christian faith is the LAST thing anyone should be ignoring (much less mocking or scoffing at).

    2) Perhaps I could have stated this stronger above, but I think we have all the reason in the world to have a solid HOPE that we will see something significant near the 23rd… As long as your faith is solid and you are trusting in Christ ALONE (not in a date, not in a sign, not in anything other than HIM) then I say don’t even worry about the possibility of a dud happening at this point. In other words… cross that bridge when you get there…. for all we know we may never even get to that bridge so it makes no sense worrying about it if/until that day comes. Hope…. Biblical Hope. He gave us a sign on a day. Look forward to that day right on up to the time it gets here and take no thought for tomorrow. Prepare like this is it… time will tell but for all we know at this point… It is!

  4. Great article. A great reminder in Petes letter “Anytime a passage of Scripture gets global attention, I think that is a good sign. It gets people asking questions about the Bible that they normally wouldn’t. Furthermore, it gets Christians back in their Bibles acting like they should have been, like Berean’s”

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

Sefton Delmer – Allies Lied about German Atrocities

September 5, 2017

delmer02.jpg(“I gazed into the mirror… There, staring at me, was the pallid, flabby-mouthed face of a crook” Sefton DelmerBlack Boomerang, p. 218)

Wartime British black propaganda chief Sefton Delmer (1904-1979) told a new recruit: “We are waging against Hitler a kind of total war of wits. Anything goes, so long as it serves to bring nearer the end of the war and Hitler’s defeat. We are up to all the dirty tricks we can devise. No holes are barred. The dirtier the better. Lies treachery, everything.” (Black Boomerang, p. 181)
Sefton Delmer was in charge of a unit that impersonated Nazi radio stations and broadcast demoralizing information to the German people. He had permission to invent atrocities, yet he didn’t mention the Jewish holocaust. Why not?
by Udo Walendy
(Excerpt by henrymakow.com)
Sefton Delmer was among the men “who were given the opportunity in 1945 of making changes in Germany”  What these intended changes looked like, the German constitutional lawyer Prof. Friedrich Grimm depicts in his book ‘Political Justice’ (pp. 146-148):
In May 1945, a few days after the collapse, I had a notable talk with an important representative of the opposite side. He introduced himself as a university professor of his country, who wanted to converse with me on the historical basis of the war. Suddenly he dropped the subject, pointed to the leaflets lying on the table in front of me, we were flooded with during the first days after surrender, mainly circling around the concentration camp-horrors. “What do you say about it?” so he asked me.
I replied:

(left, Friedrich Grimm)
“Oradour and Buchenwald? With me you force an open door. I am a lawyer and condemn the wrong wherever I meet with it, more than all, when it happens on our side. I know, however, to make a distinction between the facts and the political use one makes of it. I know the meaning of atrocity propaganda. After World War I, I have read all publications by your experts on this subject, the writings of the Northcliff Bureau, the book of the French minister of the finances Klotz ‘From War to Peace’ (Paris, 1923), depicting how the story of the chopped-off children’s hands was cooked up and what profit one got out of it, the enlightenment writings of the journal Crapouillot comparing the atrocity propaganda of 1870 with that of 1914-1918, and finally the classic by Ponsonby: ‘The Lie in War’ [Falsehood in Wartime], revealing that one had in the preceding war already magazines showing artificial corpse mountains by photomontage composed of dummies. These pictures were distributed, with a space left for caption. It was given out by telephone later on according to the needs from the propaganda centre.”
Thereby I pulled out one of the leaflets exhibiting allegedly mountains of dead bodies out of the concentration camps, and showed it to my visitor, who looked at me taken aback.
I continued:
“I can not imagine that in this war with all weapons perfected to such an extent, this mentally toxic weapon should have been neglected that decided the outcome of World War I. More so, I know it for sure! The last months before the collapse I read daily the foreign press. There was reported on German atrocities from a central office, operating in a certain turn. There was one occupied territory after the other called to mind, today France, tomorrow Norway, then Belgium, Denmark, Holland, Greece, Jugoslavia and Czecho-Slovakia.

“First were reported hundreds of corpses in the concentration camps, then six weeks later when it was the turn of this same country again, thousands, then ten thousands, then hundred thousands. Here I thought to myself: this number inflation can not possibly skyrocket into the million!”
Now I reached for another leaflet: “Here you have the million!” There my visitor blurted out: “I see, I have run into an expert. Now I also want to tell you, who I am. I am not a university professor. I am of the central office you talked about: Atrocity propaganda – and with it we won the total victory.”
I replied: “I know, and now you must stop it!”
He retorted: “No, now we shall start all the more! We shall continue this atrocity propaganda, we shall intensify it, until nobody shall accept a good word from the Germans anymore, until all the sympathy you had in other countries shall be destroyed, and until the Germans themselves shall be so confused that they do not know anymore what they are doing!”
I terminated the conversation: “Then you shall burden yourself with a great responsibility!”
What this man had threatened us with, came true. The worst, however, was the confusion caused among the Germans themselves.
Prof. Dr. Friedrich Grimm did not know the true identity of his interlocutor: It was Sefton Delmer!
Makow Comment – This 1945 documentary about the liberation of Nazi concentration  camps was never aired apparently because the Allies didn’t want to depress the German people any further. They needed them as Allies in the upcoming Cold War.  Clearly guilt is a weapon of psychological control. Is the average American responsible for secret atrocities committed by his government?
